# Fuel Watch: what do the reports show and how do I read them?
## Fuel Watch builds six reports — Transaction, Fuel Summary, Fuel Location, Non-Fuel, Fuel Matching and Overfill — each answering a different fuel question.

## What does each Fuel Watch report show?
- **Transaction Report** — every vehicle that filled up, the date, the product, how much was spent, and how many kilometres were done since the vehicle's last fill.
- **Fuel Summary Report** — all of a vehicle's transactions for the reporting period, its average kilometres per fill, and its total spend.
- **Fuel Location Report** — flags a fuel card transaction where the vehicle it's assigned to wasn't at the same location when the card was used, which can indicate a driver has filled up a personal or incorrect vehicle with the wrong card.
- **Non-Fuel Report** — shows when products other than fuel were purchased on a fuel card.
- **Fuel Matching Report** — flags a vehicle filled with the incorrect fuel type, for example a petrol vehicle filled with diesel.
- **Overfill Report** — shows the largest fill each vehicle had in the month, making it easier to spot fills that look too large for the vehicle's tank, such as topping up jerry cans at the same time.
## How do I read the Fuel Location and Fuel Matching reports?
Both reports work by comparing your fuel card transaction against what Argus already knows about the vehicle. The Fuel Location Report compares the transaction's location with the vehicle's recorded GPS position at that time — a mismatch means the card and the vehicle weren't in the same place. The Fuel Matching Report compares the fuel product purchased against the vehicle's known fuel type — a mismatch flags a fill that doesn't match what the vehicle is meant to take.
## What does it mean if a fuel transaction is missing from my reports?
If a transaction from your fuel card provider fails to import, it won't appear in that period's reports.
