# How do I customise the columns in my compliance table?
## Use the Columns List button to show or hide standard fields, and Add/Delete Columns to create up to 10 custom columns measured by mileage, hours or date.
You can choose which of the standard columns appear in your compliance table, and add your own custom columns for anything the standard set doesn't cover, from the Asset Compliance page.

## What you need before you start
- Access to the **Fleet Management \> Compliance** area of the Argus Dashboard.
## How do I customise the standard compliance columns I display?
1. On the **Asset Compliance** page, select the blue **Columns List** button. A list of the available standard columns opens in a dropdown, each with a checkbox.
2. Tick the columns you want to appear in your table and untick any you don't need — for example, untick **Fuel Card Expiry** or **Lease Renewal** if they don't apply to your fleet.
3. Select the blue **Select Columns** button to apply your choices. The table refreshes to show only the columns you selected.
## How do I create a custom compliance column?
1. On the **Asset Compliance** page, select the blue **Add/Delete Columns** button. The **Manage Custom Columns** page opens.
2. Enter a name for the column, for example **Hydraulic Oil Servicing**.
3. Select the unit of measure for the column: **Mileage**, **Hours** or **Date**.
4. Select the blue **Save** button. Your new column appears in the **Custom Columns** list and in the compliance table.
You can add up to 10 custom columns and up to 5 custom columns can be shown on the table at once.
## How do I know it worked?
The columns you selected or created appear in the Asset Compliance table immediately after saving.
## What if it doesn't work?
**A custom column won't save:** check you haven't already reached the limit of 10 custom columns.
**A column disappeared from the table:** re-check your selection in **Columns List** — it may have been unticked.
## How do I delete a custom column?
Open **Add/Delete Columns** again, tick the column you want to remove, then select the **Delete** button.
