# What do the geofence setup options do?
## Four toggles control geofence behaviour when you set one up: Show in Reports, Private Geofence, Pool Booking Geofence and Set Speed Limit.
When you set up or edit a geofence, four toggle options control how it behaves. This covers what each one does, in the order they appear on the geofence setup screen.

### Show in Reports
- **On (default):** the geofence's name appears in your reports and on the My Assets page.
- **Off:** the geofence still works for geofence alerts and Geofence Reports, but its name won't be populated into every stop on reports such as the Stop Report. This is useful for a large geofence — the whole of a city, for example — where you don't want the name showing up on every stop inside it.
### Private Geofence
- **On:** the geofence is only viewable by users who are Administrators on your Argus account.
- **Off (default):** the geofence is visible to all users on your account.
Turn this on for geofences you don't want visible to every user on your account.
### Pool Booking Geofence
Turn this on only if you have a pool vehicle booking (pool booking, also known as PVBS) integration through **FleetHub** on your Argus account. If you're not sure whether this applies to you, [contact Argus support](https://support.argustracking.com/new-request) or your account manager.
### Set Speed Limit
Turn this on to set a custom speed limit that applies inside the geofence, separate from the posted speed limit of the surrounding roads. A common example is a worksite where the surrounding roads are 50 km/h or higher but the site itself has a lower internal speed policy — this lets you track vehicles against that internal limit rather than the road's posted limit. When this is on, enter the custom limit in the **Maximum Speed Allowed in Geofence** field that appears alongside it.
