# What does the Utilisation Report show?
## The Utilisation Report gives a daily breakdown of vehicle use and drive time, and supports configurable Expected Working Hours to calculate a utilisation percentage automatically.
The Utilisation Report gives a detailed daily breakdown of vehicle utilisation, including use time, drive time, stop time, and a utilisation percentage, so you can compare over- and under-used vehicles across the fleet.

## How do I run the Utilisation Report?
1. From your Argus Dashboard, go to **Reporting \> Utilisation Report**.
2. Select the asset or group you'd like to report on.
3. Choose a date range using a preset option (Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Last Month) or a custom date range.
4. Select or deselect the required day ranges (Monday to Sunday).
5. Input the desired reporting time range.
6. Choose a report format: **Web Version**, **Printer Friendly PDF** or **CSV Export**.
7. Select the blue **Run Report** button to generate the report.
Utilisation percentages are calculated automatically by comparing vehicle use time against configurable Expected Working Hours, removing the need to calculate this manually in a spreadsheet. A free-text **Directory** field is also available on vehicle profiles and in this report — useful for cost centre references, department identifiers, or other internal categorisation. CSV exports use cleaner formatting, column ordering and headers.
