# What is the Asset Register?
## A customisable table under Fleet Management that collates data from every asset's profile into a single, filterable fleet-wide view.
The Asset Register is a customisable table that collates data from your fleet's asset profiles into one place — think of it as a stock list for everything you track. You'll find it under **Fleet Management \> Asset Register**.

## What does the Asset Register do?
It pulls information from each asset's profile — make, model, year, groups, cost centre, safety rating, fuel use and more — into a single filterable table, so you can see your whole fleet at a glance instead of opening each profile individually.
## How do I customise which columns show?
From the side menu, go to **Fleet Management \> Asset Register**, then select the blue **Columns List** button. Tick the columns you want to display, then select **Select columns** to apply your choice. You can also filter the table by clicking a column title — for example, clicking the iButton Enabled column groups assets with that feature enabled together.
## What columns are available?
Available columns include Group, Odometer, Make, Model, Year, Age, Lease expiry (by mileage and by date), Original purchase price, Purchase date, Fleet ID, Cost Centre, Safety rating, Fuel L/100km, estimated lifetime fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and lifetime CO₂ emissions, Speed-Limited 90 km/h status, iButton Enabled, Buzzer enabled, Pool asset, and Fuel card. Most of these are pulled directly from the asset's [profile](https://help.argustracking.co.nz/knowledge-base/what-is-an-asset-profile-and-what-can-i-do-with-it?hsLang=en-au), so the more detail you enter there, the more useful the register becomes.
## What does the Totals bar show?
Below the table, a Totals bar shows averages and totals for the columns you've populated — for example, the number of assets in your fleet, their average age, and combined estimated or depreciated value, where that data has been entered.
