# Why is my RUC countdown showing the wrong number?
## The RUC countdown uses the hubodometer column if it has data in it, overruling the odometer column even if that data was entered by mistake.
If your RUC countdown looks wrong, it's usually because your compliance table is counting down from the hubodometer column instead of the odometer column — whichever column has data in it takes priority.

## Why is my RUC countdown showing the wrong number?
The compliance table counts down your RUC kilometres from the mileage entered into either the odometer column or the hubodometer column. If there's data in the hubodometer column, it overrules the odometer reading for the RUC countdown — even if that data was entered by mistake.
## Does my vehicle use a hubodometer or an odometer for RUC?
If your vehicle doesn't use a hubodometer, make sure the mileage is entered in the odometer column instead. If there's any data in the hubodometer column, it will be used for the countdown regardless of what's in the odometer column.
## I entered hubodometer data by mistake — how do I fix it?
Delete all the data in the hubodometer field for that vehicle, then select **Save**. RUC will then run off the odometer reading instead.
## Where do I find the Hubodometer column?
On the Compliance page, select the **Columns List** button in the top right corner, then select **Hubodometer** from the list to add it to your table.
