On the Omni plan, register an app in the Azure Portal, then enter its Client ID, Tenant ID and Callback URL under Settings > SSO Management to enable Microsoft sign-in.

What you need before you start
- The Azure AD SSO integration is included on the Omni plan only. If you're not on this plan, contact your Account Manager to discuss upgrading.
- Access to your organisation's Azure Portal with permission to configure an App Registration.
- Administrator access to your Argus Tracking account.
How do I activate the Azure AD SSO integration?
- Sign in to the Azure Portal.
- Select the menu icon in the top left corner, then select Azure Active Directory in the sidebar.
- Select App Registrations, then select an existing App Registration (or create one for this integration).
- Go to API permissions in the sidebar and confirm the app has at least the User.Read permission. This is added automatically when a new app is created.
- Go to Overview and copy the Application (client) ID and the Directory (tenant) ID.
- In your Argus Tracking Dashboard, go to Settings > SSO Management and enter the Client ID and Tenant ID from the previous step. Select the blue Save button.
- A new Callback URL field appears under Tenant ID. Copy this URL.
- Back in Azure AD, go to Authentication > Web and paste the Callback URL into the Redirect URI field. Scroll down, tick the ID tokens checkbox, and select the blue Save button.
- Go back to the Argus Tracking sign-in page, enter your email address, and select Sign in with Microsoft.
- Accept the Microsoft permissions prompt. If the email you entered is recognised in Argus, you're redirected straight to your Argus Dashboard.
How do I know it worked?
After accepting the Microsoft permissions prompt, you land on your Argus Dashboard without needing to enter an Argus password. From then on, users with a recognised email can sign in using Sign in with Microsoft.
What if it doesn't work?
- You're not offered SSO Management under Settings: confirm your account is on the Omni plan — contact your Account Manager if you need to upgrade.
- Sign-in fails after accepting the Microsoft prompt: check the email address you entered matches an existing Argus Tracking user record.
- The Callback URL doesn't match: re-copy it from Settings > SSO Management and paste it exactly into the Azure AD Redirect URI field, then save again in both places.
If you're still stuck, contact Argus support.
