How do I set up a Check Sheet reminder?
Set up a Check Sheet reminder in two steps: configure Reminder Settings on the template, then create a Check Sheet Reminder/Overdue notification.
Setting up a Check Sheet reminder needs two steps — configuring the reminder settings on the template itself, and creating a Check Sheet Reminder/Overdue notification to assign who receives it. Both steps must be completed for the reminder system to work.

How do Check Sheet reminders and overdue alerts work?
A Reminder Alert is sent 2 days before, and again on, the Check Sheet's due date. An Overdue Alert triggers 3 days after the due date if the Check Sheet still hasn't been submitted. If a Check Sheet is completed more than 7 days early, its due date doesn't change. Different Check Sheets can have different completion frequencies — for example monthly, six-monthly or annual — and you can set up separate reminders for each one.
How do I set the reminder settings on a template?
- Select Fleet Management > Check Sheet on your Argus Dashboard.
- Select Check Sheet Templates.
- Click the edit icon next to the Check Sheet template you want to modify.
- Click Reminder Settings.
- Edit Select Assets, Select Frequency, and Select Start Date as needed, then click Save.
How do I assign who receives the reminder?
- Select Check Sheet Reminder or Overdue Alert, and click Next.
- Select which Check Sheet template the alert relates to, since different templates can be due at different frequencies, then click Next.
- Select the asset or group of assets you want to be notified on, then click Next.
- Select the user who will receive the notification, and whether they receive it by email, app, or both, then click Save.
How do I know it worked?
The reminder settings you saved on the template appear when you reopen its Reminder Settings screen, and the notification you created appears in your notifications list under Settings. The assigned recipient receives a Reminder Alert 2 days before and on the due date, and an Overdue Alert 3 days after the due date if the Check Sheet is still outstanding.
