How do I set up battery alerts?

  1. From the left-hand side menu, select Settings > Notifications.
  2. Each notification rule has a scope (a group or an individual vehicle), a recipient user, and On Email / On Mobile delivery toggles — use these to choose who the alert should go to and how they should receive it.
  3. Go down the list of alerts and toggle the battery-related alert you want to make active so it turns blue.
  4. Once you've turned on the alerts you want, click the blue Create button at the bottom of the page to activate them.

All your active alerts are shown in the table at the bottom of the page, where you can edit or delete them as needed.

How do I know it worked?

The alert you activated appears in the active alerts table, and the recipient you chose will receive it by the delivery method you selected the next time that battery condition is detected.

What if it doesn't work?

If you're not receiving the alert, check it's still showing as active (turned blue) in the alerts table, and that at least one of the Email or Mobile toggles is switched on for the recipient. If a vehicle that's not used regularly keeps triggering a flat battery, consider whether Sleep Mode should be applied to its GPS unit — contact Argus support for help setting this up.
