What are the Check Sheet question types?

Check Sheet templates support several question types, from simple Yes/No answers to Smart Fields that update your Compliance page automatically. They're listed here in the order they appear in the question type drop-down.

What question types can I choose from?

Yes/No/NA

Lets your team select Yes, No, or Not Applicable.

Yes/No

A simple Yes or No selection.

Text Input

An open field for any text, such as "damage to front bumper" or "worn tyre tread".

Dropdown

A custom drop-down menu you build for your team to choose from.

Odometer (Smart Field)

Automatically updates the odometer reading in Compliance, within a 5,000 km threshold of the current reading. Anything outside that range needs to be updated manually.

Hubodometer (Smart Field)

Works the same way as the Odometer smart field, updating the hubodometer within a 5,000 km threshold.

Hour Meter (Smart Field)

Automatically updates the hour meter field in Compliance.

Service - Distance (Smart Field)

Updates the service-distance field in Compliance.

Service - Hours (Smart Field)

Updates the service-hours field in Compliance.

How do I use these when building a template?

Select a question type from the Select a Question Type drop-down when adding or editing a question on a Check Sheet template — see how to create a Check Sheet template for the full template-building steps. Remember that a Check Sheet fails if the answer to any question is a "no", regardless of which question types the rest of the template uses.
