What do the arrow and line colours mean on the map?
Arrow colours compare a vehicle's speed to the posted limit; line colours show its actual travelling speed at each point on the route.
Arrow colours in Spectate and View History show how fast a vehicle is going relative to the posted speed limit in that speed zone. Line colours show the vehicle's actual travelling speed, independent of the speed zone.

What do the arrow colours mean?
- Green arrow — travelling at or under the posted speed limit.
- Orange arrow — travelling over the posted speed limit by no more than 11 km/h.
- Red arrow — travelling over the posted speed limit by 11 km/h or more.
What do the line colours mean?
The line shown in View History changes colour according to the vehicle's actual travelling speed at that point on the route — this is separate from the posted speed limit of the road the vehicle is on. Colours run from a coral/orange shade below 10 km/h, through yellow bands from 10–39 km/h, light and mint green bands from 40–69 km/h, up to a teal/spring green shade over 80 km/h.
How are arrow colours different from line colours?
Arrow colours are relative — they compare the vehicle's speed to the posted limit of the zone it's in, so a green arrow always means "at or under the limit," whatever that limit is. Line colours are absolute — they show the actual speed the vehicle was travelling, regardless of the zone. This means a vehicle can show an orange or red arrow (over the local limit) while its line colour reflects a moderate absolute speed, or the reverse, depending on the posted limit in that area. For example, a vehicle doing 60 km/h in a 50 km/h zone would show an orange arrow, with a line colour reflecting the 60 km/h it was actually travelling.
