How do I query or dispute a risk point?

Use the Query Risk Point option on the Driver Behaviour page or Risk Point Report to send an event you think is wrong to Argus support for review.

If you think a risk point has been applied incorrectly — for example, the speed limit shown for that location looks wrong — you can query it directly from the Driver Behaviour page or the Risk Point Report. This sends the event to Argus support for review.

What you need before you start

  • Access to the Driver Behaviour page or the Risk Point Report for the vehicle or driver in question.
  • The date and approximate time of the event you want to query, so you can find it.

How do I query or dispute a risk point?

  1. Open the Driver Behaviour page, or run the Risk Point Report under Reporting, and find the event you want to query.
  2. Select the Query Risk Point option shown beside that event.
  3. Submit the query. This sends a message to Argus support to look into the event further — it does not remove the risk point itself.

How do I know it worked?

Your query is sent to Argus support for review. Argus support investigates the event and responds — the reconstructed source material for this article does not state a typical turnaround time, so if you need a status update, contact Argus support.

What if it doesn't work?

  • I can't find a Query Risk Point option for the event — check you're looking at the correct vehicle, driver and date on the Driver Behaviour page or Risk Point Report, then contact Argus support with the asset, driver, and event date and time.
  • I queried a risk point and haven't heard back — contact Argus support with the asset, driver, and event date and time so they can check on it.
