Which report do I need to run?

A summary of the most popular Argus reports, what each one shows, and where to find it — start here, or use the question-based decision guide instead.

Argus's Reporting catalogue is organised into report categories, including Asset Reporting (reports on vehicles and equipment) and Driver Reporting (the same reports run against individual drivers). This page summarises the most popular reports across those categories; if you know your question but not the report name, use the report finder instead.

Stop Report

  • Shows the locations where a vehicle or group has stopped and the duration of each stop, including distance and travel time from the last stopping point. Useful for timesheets and identifying discrepancies. See the Stop Report.

Trip Report

  • Shows every location a vehicle travelled to and from over a date range, with arrival and departure times and distance travelled. See the Trip Report.

Location Report

  • Checks which of your vehicles were within a set radius of an address, over a date range. See the Location Report.

Overspeed Report

  • Lets you choose a speed threshold and see only vehicles that went over it, with the location, date and time each speed event was logged. See the Overspeed Report.

Advanced Stop Report

  • Returns a Stop Report with custom work start and finish times you set yourself. The emailed (scheduled) version of this report matches the web app version and accepts a work start time later than the work end time — an overnight or reverse-time window. This parity is confirmed for the Advanced Stop Report only; it isn't confirmed for other reports. See the Advanced Stop Report.

Mileage Report

  • Records the mileage a vehicle does each day and totals it for the week or month, with an estimated fuel consumption based on the vehicle's make, model and year. See the Mileage Report.

Usage Report

  • Splits a vehicle's distance and time into working and non-working hours. See the Usage Report.

Stationary Report

  • Choose a time threshold and see which vehicles have been stationary for longer than it — useful for finding vehicles that aren't being used. See the Stationary Report.

Asset Overdue Report

  • Shows which assets haven't reported for a selected number of hours, as at the moment you run it. This report is also referred to as the Asset Offline Report when it's sent on a schedule as the monthly emailed report — the on-demand report, the scheduled email, and the separate real-time Asset Offline Notification are three related but distinct tools, not different names for the same thing. See the Asset Overdue Report.
